Depends on the irrigation system’s water requirements and power needs. To give you a rough idea:
- System size (kW) = Total power needed / sunlight hours
- Number of panels = System size (kW) / panel wattage
For irrigation system, the number of panels differ depending on farm size ie small farm requires fewer panels compared to large farms.
What size pump irrigates 5 acres?
This depends on crop water needs and irrigation method
Typical pump sizes:
